Creeping Chill

Description

Creeping Chill Mat

Winter farmland/fields

The crops are in, and the countryside waits for spring under a thin blanket of early snow, hiding warily as winter — and war — intrude. Designed for WWII European battles, but great for any cold-weather conflicts of the gunpowder age. Just add trees, hills, and a building or two to spring an ambush, blockade an important road, or attack/defend a supply depot. The zoom-in detail of frosty grass poking through the snow cover and the road marked out with the recent passage of tires or wagon wheels sets the scene for early winter or the first hint of spring, and creates a natural-looking rustic and pastoral setting that WON’T be mistaken for a sci-fi ice planet.
